The term Metabolism categorizes in two well-known categories. –

  1. Anabolism= Anabolism is the synthesis process of all the bodily compound which the cells of our body needs. 
  2. Catabolism= Catabolism is the process which involves breaking down of bodily molecules to derive energy

The process of metabolism of our body has a very close link to the nutrition which our body requires daily. Therefore the availability of food also plays a vital role in carrying out metabolism. The terms which state that the metabolic or also known as biochemical pathways through which the cell took in energy, is bioenergetics. Moreover, the formation of energy inside a living body is an essential ground on which metabolism lies.

1. Nutrition, Energy, And Metabolism:

As we have already stated that nutrition is a vital section to lead the path to metabolism. Therefore the path which leads to metabolism relies significantly on the bucket of nutrition. 2. Carbohydrates In Metabolism Process:

Carbohydrate is one of the key sources of energy, providing an element to the human body. Food supplies carbohydrates to the body in three very basic forms, namely- sugar, starch, and cellulose. Moreover, our body tissues remain highly dependent on glucose content for performing every sort of activity. Our body b the process of digestion takes out glucose from the carbohydrates. 

3. Proteins In Metabolism Process: 

Another chief source of energy to carry out the metabolism process id the protein content in our food. Therefore the functions that protein performs are building cell structure, haemoglobin formation, enzymes that are responsible for carrying out multiple tasks in the body. Moreover, foods that provide the best quantity of protein are eggs, meats, and fish. 

4. Minerals Along With Vitamins In The Process:

Last but not least, Minerals are very efficient in carrying out the metabolic function in the body. Around 50 elements are commonly found in the human body and out of which 25 are the very important ones. Moreover, vitamins are compounds in which the human body fails to synthesize by itself; hence, one should take them in a dietary way
